We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Dialysis Nurse. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients with end-stage renal disease.
Responsibilities- Deliver dialysis care to patients in a hospital setting, working closely with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Conduct patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and monitor patient progress.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and address patient needs.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting self-care and independence.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
- Experience in intensive care unit (ICU), critical care unit (CCU), emergency room (ER), or medical-surgical (Med Surg) settings is preferred.
- Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification is a plus.
