Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant automotive technician experience required.
  • Ford experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute tasks specified on the repair order efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
  • Conduct test drives and assess components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of any additional services required and provide time estimates for further repairs.
  • Perform warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
  • Coordinate with the parts department to procure necessary components.
  • Document all work performed on the repair order accurately.
  • Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs as directed by the service manager.
  • Stay updated on manufacturer technical bulletins.
  • Ensure customer vehicles are maintained in clean condition and report any changes in appearance or condition to the service advisor immediately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized shop area.
  • Account for all dealership-owned tools and manuals, returning them in the same condition as received.
  • Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA standards.
  • Operate all tools and equipment safely.
  • Report any safety concerns to management promptly.
  • All applicants must demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, drug tests, and possess a valid driver's license.
