Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Designer to join our team at Floor & Decor Holdings, Inc. As a Designer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, designing and selling complete flooring solutions, and collaborating with store leadership and employees to achieve sales and other goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet with customers to understand their project needs and provide personalized design solutions
  • Design and sell complete flooring solutions, including tile, wood, stone, and accessories
  • Collaborate with store leadership and employees to manage projects from inquiry to installation and achieve sales and other goals
  • Engage in current and emerging design trends in your market
  • Responsible for understanding and utilizing design applications, such as Salesforce and proprietary Online Design Appointment Scheduler

Requirements
  • Minimum of one year of interior design experience or prior retail/sales experience
  • Degree in Design is a plus
  • Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus
  • Proficient in basic mathematical skills
  • Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite
