Job Description

Associated Couriers LLC is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Haverhill, Massachusetts. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient movement of shipments, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of organization in our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation Coordination: Oversee the coordination of transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.
  • Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries and refer clients to the proper channels, providing excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Dispatch Operations: Field inbound customer requests, operate dispatch software to assign routes and orders, and manage drivers to meet on-time requirements and efficiency levels.
  • Warehouse Operations: Perform all normal and necessary warehouse functions, including shipping, receiving, cycle counting, WMS data entry, stocking shelves, and maintaining overall warehouse hygiene and organization.
  • Quote and Sales: Quote Courier, Box Truck, and Freight delivery services, and cover routes as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or higher required, 2+ years of experience in an administrative role, and 2+ years of customer service experience.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications, excellent communication and organizational skills, knowledge of computers for scheduling and dispatching duties, ability to multitask, and keen attention to detail.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Must have a Class C CDL with a Hazmat Endorsement, and a DOT Med card prior to the first day.
