Environmental Compliance Associate

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Compliance Associate to support our team in ensuring environmental compliance and stormwater management projects. This is a full-time, hourly position with flexible location within the Sonoma/Napa area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support environmental and stormwater compliance projects, including assisting clients in complying with stormwater regulations and preventing pollutants from entering waterways.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure Best Management Practices (BMPs) are adequate and evaluate project sites for contaminant risk.
  • Work with onsite crews to remedy notable concerns and conduct water quality monitoring of water flowing offsite.
Requirements:
  • BS or BA degree in an environmental discipline, sciences, or engineering.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years' experience supporting stormwater compliance.
  • Knowledge of water quality or Stormwater management information, techniques, practices, laws, and regulations.
  • Current QSP / QSD Certification, or ability to obtain.
  • Experience with the California Stormwater Multiple Application and Report Tracking System (SMARTS).
  • Familiarity with Arc GIS Pro.
