Full Time Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Full Time Veterinary Technician to join our team at the Spay Neuter Network. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinarians in delivering high-quality medical services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including restraint, vital sign collection, and phlebotomy.
  • Monitor and maintain patient records, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of medical terminology, veterinary pharmacology, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients, including pet owners and veterinary staff.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry advancements and best practices.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in veterinary technology or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a veterinary technician or assistant; experience with electronic medical record systems and veterinary software a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
