Preston Royal Animal Clinic Job Description

At Preston Royal Animal Clinic, we are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing end-to-end care for our patients. Your responsibilities will include supporting veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocating for pets, and educating clients. You will also assist with surgeries and procedures, communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns, and maintain relevant medical records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care and advocate for pets.
  • Assist with surgeries and procedures in accordance with state Veterinary Practice Act.
  • Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns.
  • Maintain relevant medical records.
  • Assist with admitting and discharging patients.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2 years of continuous veterinary technician/assistant experience.
  • LVT, RVT, CVT or Pre-Vet is a plus.
  • Ability to work evenings, rotating weekends, and certain holidays.
  • Desire to practice empathetic, gold standard medicine.
  • Team-oriented with an ability to collaborate and support each other.
