  • Measurement and Inspection: Accurately reads and interprets precision measurements, ensuring that components meet required tolerances and specifications.
  • Blueprint and Schematic Understanding: Demonstrates a basic understanding of blueprints and schematics, including the ability to comprehend job instructions and technical documentation.
  • Tooling and Equipment: Possesses basic hand tools and is able to operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Welding and Fabrication: Has knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques, including the ability to work with a variety of materials and equipment.
  • Heavy Rigging: Possesses working knowledge of heavy rigging and lifting techniques, ensuring safe and efficient movement of equipment and materials.
  • Independence and Initiative: Able to work independently without supervision on simple assemblies, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills as needed.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of machine building experience
  • Knowledge of welding, fabrication, and heavy rigging
  • Basic understanding of blueprints and schematics
  • Ability to comprehend job instructions and technical documentation
  • Basic hand tools and ability to operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
