Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced High School Art Teacher to join our team at Monrovia Unified School District.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to promote student learning and creativity in the visual arts.
  • Provide individualized instruction and support to students with varying skill levels and abilities.
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and instructional strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Art Education or related field.
  • Valid California teaching credential.
  • Proven experience in teaching high school art.
  • Strong knowledge of art curriculum and instructional strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
