Job Summary

The Admissions Clerk plays a vital role in the hospital's operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient registration process for patients. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Register patients in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring all necessary information is collected and documented.
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Operate various office equipment, including computers, printers, and phones, to perform tasks such as data entry and communication.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient charts and admission schedules.
• Collaborate with other hospital staff to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient use of resources.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and hospital staff.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of office software, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Three to six months of on-the-job training required to attain proficiency in performance of assigned duties and responsibilities.
