Job Summary

The Admissions Clerk plays a vital role in the hospital's operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient registration process for patients. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Register patients in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring all necessary information is collected and documented.
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Operate various office equipment, including computers, printers, and communication systems.
• Maintain accurate records, including patient charts and admission schedules.
• Perform cashier duties, processing payments and issuing receipts.
• Assist with patient transportation and escort patients to their designated areas.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of office software.
• Three to six months of on-the-job training required to attain proficiency.
