Partners Healthcare System is seeking a highly skilled Patient Care Associate to join our team. As a Patient Care Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Job Summary:
We are offering a competitive salary of $60,000 per year for this exciting opportunity. In addition to your base salary, you will be eligible for a generous sign-on bonus of $2,500 to welcome you to our team.

About the Role:
As a Patient Care Associate, you will work under the direction of a registered nurse to assist with clinical support functions and promote a safe, compassionate patient care environment. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out patient care plans as directed by a registered nurse
* Providing physical care to patients, including bed baths, toileting, grooming, and changing bed linens, as per established guidelines
* Assisting patients with positioning, lifting, and turning, and using adaptive and transfer equipment as needed
* Performing patient monitoring activities, such as vital signs and blood glucose checks, as per established guidelines
* Preparing patients for meals and assisting them when necessary
* Conducting regular patient rounds and responding promptly to call lights

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* A high school diploma or equivalent required (unless you hold a nursing assistant certification)
* Recent experience and/or training in clinical patient care
* Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
* Basic math and computer science skills
* Healthcare Provider CPR certification
* Knowledge of DPH/OEMS regulations
