Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our team at Amada America, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately processing orders, managing inventory, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process orders received via email, phone, or in-person from customers or company employees.
  • Verify and update order information, including prices and nomenclature, in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Communicate with customers regarding order status, shipping dates, and any delays or issues.
  • Enter data into our computer system to determine total costs for customers.
  • Record and file copies of orders received.
  • Assess customer credit ratings and notify stock control departments of non-standard items or unusual quantities.
  • Route orders to departments for filling and follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Receive, check, and document customer complaints.
  • Collaborate with production, sales, shipping, and warehouse personnel to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments.
  • Attempt to sell additional merchandise to customers.
  • Process returns of merchandise from customers and coordinate with departments to issue credits and adjust inventories.

Working Conditions
  • Daily lifting up to 10 pounds unassisted.
Work Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Pay Range

$18.00 for the first 30 days (depending on training) then increases to $20.00
