We are seeking a highly skilled Ophthalmic Technician to join our team at KurzSolutions. As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality eye care services to our patients.

• Perform refractometry, visual acuity measurement, and kinetic visual field testing to determine spectacle prescriptions.
• Conduct pupil evaluation, slit lamp biomicroscopy, and A-scan ultrasonography to assess eye health.
• Measure eyeglass prescriptions using manual or automated lensometers and record sphere, cylinder, axis, and prism values.
• Assist in minor clinical surgical procedures, including laser surgery and intravitreal injections.
• Work collaboratively with the Surgical Service to provide administrative and clinical care duties related to Veteran patients with various eye diseases and conditions.

• Certified as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) with the Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology (JCAHPO).
• Demonstrate good interpersonal skills and knowledge of personal computer operation, computerized data entry, storage, and recall.
• Experience working with an interdisciplinary team comprised of highly educated professionals and front-line staff.
