Cardiac Sonographer Specialist

UNC Health is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Job Summary:As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for generating high-quality ultrasound images of the heart and vascular structures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiovascular disease.
Responsibilities:- Perform cardiac ultrasound procedures to obtain diagnostic images of the heart and vascular structures.
- Monitor and record patient information, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Prepare procedure rooms and equipment for daily use, ensuring timely and efficient room preparation between procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Associate's degree in Sonography, Radiology, or a related field within 3 months of hire.
- Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or registry eligible and become registered within one (1) year from date of hire.
- No prior experience required.
