We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Analyst to join our team at SoTx Facility Services, LLC. This role is crucial in ensuring that our projects adhere to established standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive support for fire and life safety initiatives within the facilities management sector.
- Develop and implement effective fire protection and life safety strategies.
- Ensure that all work aligns with project specifications and requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to construction, including financial records, communications, and purchase orders.
- Participate in project meetings, addressing issues and providing recommendations to management.
- Review and approve submittals, shop drawings, and samples.
- Conduct on-site inspections of construction activities and oversee contractor quality control measures.
- Document project progress through regular photography.
- Evaluate change order proposals and assist in the preparation of punch lists.
- Review as-built documentation for accuracy.
- Generate reports and undertake special projects as directed by management.
- Complete all necessary training to maintain compliance.
- Deliver daily Quality Control reports detailing site conditions and progress.
- Facilitate coordination between contractors and internal teams.
Qualifications:
- Proficient understanding of medical design standards, Uniform Facility Criteria (UFCs), and Federal Building Code regulations.
- Experience with UFGS and EM Safety requirements is essential.
- Ability to interpret and analyze drawings and specifications for various facility projects.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a medical facility setting is required.
