Job Title: Coordinator of Intake and Operations

La Salle University is seeking a highly skilled and organized Coordinator of Intake and Operations to join our Student Counseling Center team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the intake process for students seeking counseling services, managing office operations, and providing administrative support to the SCC Director.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the intake process for students seeking counseling services, including scheduling adjustments and anticipating needs of students in crisis.
  • Manage office operations, including budget management, procurement of goods and services, and maintaining back-up budgets in Excel.
  • Provide administrative support to the SCC Director, including processing documentation of purchases and maintaining files for payments.
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise Federal Work Study students.
  • Answer incoming inquiries, respond to emails, and direct inquiries to appropriate persons as needed.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in psychology or other social service discipline.
  • Two years of prior experience working in a mental health or physical health related setting.
  • Microsoft Suite proficiency and experience with electronic appointment systems.
  • Knowledge of managing line-item budgets.
  • Excellent administrative, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology or other social service discipline.
  • Knowledge of crisis response protocols.
  • Prior experience working on a college campus.
  • Prior experience with multiple supervisors.
  • Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations in an urban setting.
