Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Maintenance Associate to join our team. As a Janitorial Maintenance Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of our store, including cleaning showers and restroom facilities, washing, loading, and unloading towels for showers, performing general repair/maintenance of the store, and picking up and taking all trash around the travel center.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the overall cleanliness of the store, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning high-touch areas
  • Clean showers and restroom facilities, including restocking toilet paper and soap
  • Wash, load, and unload towels for showers
  • Perform general repair/maintenance of the store, including fixing leaky faucets and unclogging drains
  • Pick up and take all trash around the travel center
  • Provide excellent guest service through well-maintained facilities

Requirements

  • Highly motivated self-starters
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Able to lift 50 pounds and walk/stand most of the day
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of industrial equipment and ability to fix small problems
