About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented School Custodian to join our team at ABM Industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide thorough cleaning and upkeep of assigned areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for students and staff.
  • Clean and maintain carpets and hard surface floors by vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Dust furniture, pictures, ventilation, lights, and blinds to maintain a tidy and well-maintained appearance.
  • Empty wastebaskets and clean windows and restrooms to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Perform other cleaning and maintenance duties as required to support the smooth operation of the school.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in cleaning and maintenance preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies.
