Custodial Worker

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at Rutherford County Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students and staff.

• Perform all janitorial and cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Work flexible hours to support school activities and other custodial staff.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
• Take pride in work and maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail.
• Be a team player and demonstrate a positive attitude and trustworthiness.
• Maintain floors and paint to a high standard.

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work an asset.
