Job Summary

The Clinical Nurse First Assist is a key member of our perioperative team, responsible for providing comprehensive nursing management of care to patients during the perioperative phase. This role involves assisting the operating surgeon during procedures and serving as a scrub circulator or RN First Assist.

Responsibilities
  • Provide perioperative nursing duties, including assisting the operating surgeon and serving as a scrub circulator or RN First Assist.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.
Requirements
  • 3 years of clinical experience in surgical services.
  • Graduate nursing degree required; Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
  • Registered Nurse licensure and Certified Operating Room Registered Nurse certification required.
