Perioperative Nursing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Perioperative Nursing Specialist to join our team at WakeMed Health & Hospitals. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients during the perioperative phase.

Responsibilities
- Assist the operating surgeon during operative procedures
- Provide comprehensive nursing management of care to patients during the perioperative phase
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
- 3 years of clinical experience in surgical services
- Graduate nursing degree required; Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- Registered Nurse and Certified Operating Room Registered Nurse licensure/certification required
Work Schedule
4-10 hour shifts, variable with flexibility as needed by department staffing needs. Weekend and call requirements as needed.
