Job Title: DevOps Technical Automation Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Technical Automation Engineer to join our team at PTR Global. As a DevOps Technical Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated infrastructure and deployment processes using code. You will work closely with our development team to ensure seamless integration of automated processes into our software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated infrastructure and deployment processes using code.
  • Collaborate with development team to ensure seamless integration of automated processes into software development lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain scripts, libraries, and tools to automate infrastructure and deployment processes.
  • Work with AWS/GCP services to automate infrastructure and deployment processes.
  • Develop and maintain API documentation for automated processes.
  • Work with offshore DevOps/System Engineers to adopt Infras as Code.
  • Debug 3PC issues with AWS/GCP and Apple CloudTech/Hybrid cloud.

Requirements:

  • Strong developer with understanding of infrastructure.
  • Proficient in writing scripts, libraries to build infrastructure using code.
  • Python programming language preferred.
  • Docker knowledge and proficiency to work various build systems as npm, maven, poetry.
  • Kubernetes understanding is must. Able to code deployment using technology using helm, kustomize.
  • Experience in working in AWS/GCP services is a must.
  • Understand API documentation of various services we interact to deliver CICD and be able to create reusable modules to deliver CICD.
  • Experiencing in documenting their work in Github, or creating CLI's with --help parameter is required.

Pay Range: $70/hr - $75/hr

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
