Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee the activities of Patient Service Centers within an assigned area, ensuring optimal operation and customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with PSC staff, management, laboratory staff, and clients to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Perform phlebotomy and specimen processing procedures at Labcorp Patient Service Centers under minimal supervision.
  • Manage patient flow, wait times, inventory levels, and information logs to ensure efficient operations.
  • Monitor monthly productivity reports and report any deviations to supervisors.
  • Address customer service issues promptly and respectfully, promoting a positive customer experience.
  • Promote teamwork, cohesiveness, and effective communication among coworkers.
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary, including data entry, billing, and payment collection.
  • Travel to additional sites as needed to support business operations.
Requirements
  • Valid California issued Phlebotomy License or application filed with California Department of Health at time of hire.
  • Previous experience as a phlebotomist, with 1 year of experience preferred.
  • Leadership experience is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities, and techniques.
  • Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
  • Must be 21 years of age, reliable transportation, and clean driving record if applicable.
