We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Service Center Coordinator to join our team at Labcorp. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Patient Service Centers, providing exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and oversee the activities of Patient Service Centers within an assigned area, ensuring optimal operation and customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with PSC staff, management, laboratory staff, and clients to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Perform phlebotomy and specimen processing procedures at Labcorp Patient Service Centers under minimal supervision.
- Manage patient flow, wait times, inventory levels, and information logs to ensure efficient operations.
- Monitor monthly productivity reports and report any deviations to supervisors.
- Address customer service issues promptly and respectfully, promoting a positive customer experience.
- Promote teamwork, cohesiveness, and effective communication among coworkers.
- Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary, including data entry, billing, and payment collection.
- Travel to additional sites as needed to support business operations.
- Valid California issued Phlebotomy License or application filed with California Department of Health at time of hire.
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist, with 1 year of experience preferred.
- Leadership experience is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities, and techniques.
- Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
- Must be 21 years of age, reliable transportation, and clean driving record if applicable.
