Responsibilities- Assist in the provision of optimum quality patient care by serving as a resource person for other staff members, patients, and family.
- Coordinate patient care with registered nurses and other departments.
- Assist physicians with patient care and perform data collection and obtain patient information.
- Assist registered nurses with patient care and intervene with appropriate action after needs are identified.
- Evaluate the assignment, planning, and intervention process, and demonstrate professional and personal development.
- Graduate of a program in discipline.
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Current licensure by the WV State LPN Board.
