Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and execute engineering drawings to fabricate and assemble structural components.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure safe and efficient construction processes.
  • Operate and maintain a range of power tools and equipment, including generators, light plants, and compressors.
  • Apply knowledge of concrete placement, finishing, and curing techniques.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards.
  • Develop and implement improved methods and procedures for traffic maintenance activities.
  • Provide regular status reports and special reports as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of carpentry experience in a construction environment, preferably with a heavy highway contractor.
  • Valid driver's license.
