Job Summary

Washington Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Care Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for providing and managing nursing care for an assigned specific population of patients and families to achieve stated clinical and organizational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use the nursing process in the care of patients/families, including education along the care continuum.
  • Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure safe, timely, efficient, and effective care that responds to the individual needs of the patient/family.
  • Meet and maintain established patient/family care and professional practice standards.
  • Direct and oversee care provided by assistive personnel through delegation, evaluation, and coordination to ensure patient/family needs are met.
Work Environment

This is a rotating 12-hour shift position, working 36 hours per week in the Emergency Department.
