About the Role

The Automation Technology Intern will assist the Engineering and Systems Solutions (ESS) team with various research, development, documentation, basic project, and general technical tasks. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, self-starter with a desire to learn and grow in the field of automation.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and apply safety standards to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Assist with research tasks for new technology, component research, vendor information, etc.
  • Assist with general documentation tasks centered around project development, project management, data collection, etc.
  • Handle basic project-related and engineering tasks as needed.
  • Support the ESS teams as needed.
Requirements
  • Motivated, self-starter, with a willingness to grow and learn new skills.
  • Basic computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Currently studying in a technical or engineering-related field.
  • Reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well in a goal-oriented, team environment.
Desired Skills
  • Experience with AutoCad or other design software.
