Position Overview
SUMMARY
We are currently seeking a Product Manager for our Credit Card Claims division within the Operations Services sector. This role is pivotal in driving strategic initiatives and enhancing our service offerings. The ideal candidate will act as a champion for our customers and advocate for product improvements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This role is responsible for overseeing operational platform management across various products and their associated ecosystems. You will work within an agile framework to deliver scalability, innovation, operational effectiveness, and compliance with regulations. Collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders, as well as Agile teams, is essential to evolve the assigned products with guidance from leadership. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and refining the product backlog.
- Creating user stories and acceptance criteria, prioritizing tasks to maximize business value aligned with product strategy.
- Serving as the primary liaison between business units and Agile teams, ensuring a clear understanding of the product vision.
- Engaging closely with the development team to address daily prioritization needs, providing real-time feedback, and answering ongoing queries.
- Collaborating with Product Management to establish release timelines, assess when sufficient value has been achieved for market release, and communicate trade-offs regarding schedule, scope, and budget.
- Utilizing product management methodologies, including customer research, data analytics, and market analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
PREFERRED
- Proven operational experience in credit card claims.
- Ability to collaboratively develop and refine a product backlog.
- Capability to articulate a product vision that supports outcomes, value, and prioritization of tasks.
- Strong understanding of Lean/Agile principles.
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and empower teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in navigating computer systems.
- Possession of industry-standard certifications such as SAFe Agile Product Owner.
This position offers a hybrid work schedule, requiring in-office attendance for three or more days per week, with flexibility for remote work on other days.
