Job Title: Manufacturing Quality Assurance Specialist

The Texas Injection Molding team is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Quality Assurance Specialist to support our customers and manufacturing processes. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for ensuring products meet or exceed set standards. This role involves inspecting output samples using industry-appropriate methods, measuring dimensions, and evaluating functionality.

Responsibilities:
• Inspect output samples using calipers and gauges, measuring dimensions and examining functionality.
• Verify that assembly or production line adheres to standards and procedures and complies with customer and industry standards.
• Record inspection results by completing reports and inputting data into the IQMS ERP system.
• Educate the production team on quality control issues and work with departmental managers to improve overall company safety and product quality.

Requirements:
• High School Education or GED
• Minimum 2 years' experience in plastics manufacturing environment, preferably in the quality department.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Basic computer and math skills to calibrate and measure specifications.
• Ability to use measuring devices like gauges, meters, caliper, micrometers, and computers.
• In-depth understanding of company standards
• Documentation and reporting skills.
• Teamwork and collaboration
• Strong understanding of raw material and the manufacturing industry
• Bilingual English and Spanish (optional)

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
