Job Overview

The Quality Assurance Specialist role at Salata Franchise LLC is a critical position responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products. With a strong focus on food safety and quality control, this position plays a vital role in maintaining the high standards of our manufacturing facility.

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Quality Assurance team in implementing best practices, improving processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This individual will work closely with production management to enforce food production standards and quality control measures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) protocols.
  • Conduct quality control tests on products, document results, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance product quality and consistency.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of product analysis, temperature logs, sanitation records, and other relevant data.

Requirements and Qualifications:

This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a food production environment or a related field. A bachelor's degree in food science, food technology, or a similar field is preferred. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this position.

Able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suites and have knowledge of food handling and production policies dictated by local and national agencies.


Benefits:

This non-exempt position offers competitive pay: $52,000 - $65,000 per year based on experience. Additional benefits include paid time off, medical insurance, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
