Job Overview

Sea Mar Community Health Centers, a leading Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), is seeking a talented Nutrition Services Manager to oversee its WIC Program. Estimated Annual Salary: $76,960

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the WIC Program, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing nutritional services to high-risk clients. Key duties include:

  • Developing and implementing nutrition plans, consulting with staff, and monitoring program progress.
  • Coordinating outreach activities, maintaining communication with referral agencies, and participating in county, state, and local nutritionists' meetings.
  • Supervising and directing WIC staff, conducting regular staff meetings, and acting as a liaison between management, other Sea Mar staff, and state nutrition staff.
  • Preparing periodic reports, summarizing progress, and ensuring data accuracy.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A degree in nutrition from an accredited college or university or equivalent training and experience.
  • Experience working with multicultural populations, particularly Latino communities, and proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
  • Managerial skills, organizational abilities, and a demonstrated interest in nutrition services and education.
  • 7 hours of HIV/AIDS course completion and R.D. and C.D. credentials maintenance.
