Job Description

This part-time and independent contractor role offers a unique opportunity to work remotely and set your own hours. You will provide intensive nutrition counseling and weight management education via phone, video, chat, text, and email, as well as support patients with dosing and titration of anti-obesity medications within established protocols.

You will be working closely with team physicians and external providers to ensure comprehensive care, quickly establishing rapport and therapeutic alliances with a diverse patient population. Your experience with anti-obesity medications and proficiency in motivational interviewing techniques will be highly valued in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct intensive nutrition counseling and weight management education via phone, video, chat, text, and email.
  • Support patients with dosing and titration of anti-obesity medications within established protocols.
  • Collaborate with team physicians and external providers to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Quickly establish rapport and therapeutic alliances with a diverse patient population.
Requirements and Experience
  • Must be a Registered Dietitian credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. If required, must hold state licensure.
  • Certification from the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators (NCBDE) as a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with anti-obesity medications is preferred.
  • Able to incorporate constructive feedback to improve patient interactions.
  • Must have a private home office with high-speed internet for secure patient conversations.

The hourly pay for this position is $40 per hour, and you will need to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week. We are looking for someone who is flexible, adaptable, and passionate about delivering high-quality care.
