Job Overview

  • Leadership and Oversight: Organizing and supervising staff to ensure high-quality client care, evaluating services, and ensuring client satisfaction. This includes monitoring daily staffing needs and providing guidance to clinical staff.
  • Staff Development: Assisting in the recruitment process, developing orientation plans for new hires, and offering timely feedback. This role also involves scheduling necessary training and acting as a liaison with medical professionals.
  • Policy Implementation: Enforcing and interpreting organizational policies, nursing standards, and relevant regulations.
  • Client Care Coordination: Supervising and coordinating care and counseling activities to ensure compliance with contracts and internal policies.
  • Nursing Staff Management: Overseeing nursing personnel, including scheduling, recruitment, performance evaluations, and training initiatives.
  • Referral Coordination: Managing incoming referrals and collaborating with referral agencies and treatment teams to facilitate admissions.
  • Client Assessment: Conducting assessments and evaluations for clients transitioning from hospital settings.
  • Medication Oversight: Ensuring proper administration of medications.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a healthcare environment, with direct interaction with individuals.
  • Proficient understanding of COMAR regulations and OSHA guidelines.

Education Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Current nursing licensure in the State of Maryland.
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid.
