We are seeking a highly skilled Resident QCS Service Technician to join our team at ABB in Monticello, MS. Key Responsibilities- Execute service work as per work instructions and customer expectations
- Deliver quality customer service planning and execute service work as per customer order
- Ensure customer retention by effectively communicating service work timeline and expectations
- Work with customers to identify opportunities to improve their operations and eliminate pain points
- Perform field service tasks, identify technical issues, and perform analysis through remote or onsite activity
- Prepare material lists needed for service activity and ensure all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality
- Act as trainer when needed for field service associates and customers
- Associate degree in a related field and 8+ years of electrical/electronics, instrumentation or process control related work/military experience required
- Ability to use electrical test equipment such as voltmeters or multi-meters
- Mechanical and Electrical aptitude including a basic understanding of electrical theory and electrical safety
- Ability to read electrical drawings and utilize for troubleshooting electrical systems
- Ability to diagnose malfunctioning electrical systems up to 240 VAC/870 VDC and perform preventive maintenance using electrical test equipment
- Candidate should know how to identify voltage systems that are above the level 240 VAC/870 VDC
- Comfortable using basic hand tools
- Basic understanding of the paper making process and process control concepts are a plus
- Exposure to DCS programming and troubleshooting is beneficial
- Familiarity with Server/Client infrastructure and virtualization of architecture is also an advantage

This is a position with grade 13 and reports to the Director, Service Operations. We offer a competitive salary range of $90,150 to $123,050 annually.
