ICU RN Position Summary

At TidalHealth, we are seeking a skilled ICU RN to join our team. This role requires a high level of expertise in providing patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The ICU RN is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating a plan of patient care utilizing ANA Standards and the Nursing Process. They will act as a patient advocate, providing support, information, and direct care while utilizing equipment and technology skillfully.

The ICU RN will educate patients and families on significant self-care issues and may be required to inventory, distribute, and deliver medications.

Requirements

  • Licensed and currently registered to practice as a Registered Nurse
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 12 months of employment
  • NIH Stroke Scale Certification will be obtained during orientation

Work Schedule

The ICU RN may be assigned to day, evening, or night shifts or a combination per departmental policy. They are scheduled off at least three holidays per year and are required to work weekends per unit need. Overtime may be required on occasion.

Benefits

At TidalHealth, full-time employees working at least 72 hours per pay period, part-time employees working at least 36 hours per pay period, and part-time employees working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits. Benefits include medical, prescription, vision, dental, flexible spending accounts, disability insurance plans, life insurance, paid time off plans, retirement plans, tuition assistance, employee assistance, and access to on-site childcare and a credit union.

Salary Range

$33.00-$52.80 Commensurate with experience
