Material Handler

The Utility performs material changeovers, set-ups, and maintains material feeding units on injection molding machines in the Production Department. This role directly supports the Production Team to ensure the production of high-quality parts in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform material and color changes on plastic injection molding machines.
- Split molds and pull insulated runners from molds.
- Set-up and adjust material mixing units.
- Accurately document color usage and product completion in IQMS.
- Maintain clean and organized material storage and work areas.
- Transport pallets of finished goods to the warehouse.
- Assist production by providing breaks to Machine Operators as required.
- Follow all Company processes and procedures to ensure a safe, productive work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 1-3 years' experience in material handling in plastics manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend process set-up instructions and company policies and procedures.
- Mechanical aptitude with ability to use basic hand tools is required.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds frequently.
- Ability to follow safe manufacturing practices.
- Must be motivated to work with or without constant supervision in a group setting.
