About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine.
  • Wash pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures.
  • Polish silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth.
  • Ensure compliance with outlined safety procedures.
  • Maintain temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
  • Keep dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
  • Sweep and mop kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
  • Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces.
  • Remove trash and place it in designated containers.
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
  • Help load and unload supplies and product.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of previous kitchen food industry/hospitality experience is required.
