Main Responsibilities:

We are seeking a well-organized and committed individual to join our IHOP team as a dishwasher. The successful candidate will be responsible for removing dishes from tables and washing them, resetting and preparing tables, cleaning cook stations, kitchen appliances, and machines. Excellent time management and communication skills are essential for this role. The candidate will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and must adhere to food safety procedures and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining a clean and well-organized working environment
  • Bussing tables to collect soiled plates and flatware
  • Cleaning as needed inside and outside the restaurant
  • Putting away deliveries and keeping storage areas organized
  • Assisting other staff members with tasks when needed
  • Adhering to all food and safety procedures and regulations
  • Taking out the trash and rinsing trash cans
  • Ensuring the availability of clean dishes by washing flatware, dishes, pans, and pots
  • Maintaining a clean work environment by cleaning kitchen machines and appliances
Requirements:
  • Ability to operate the dish machine safely
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Understanding and adherence to all food safety procedures
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
