As an RN-Emergency Services Specialist, you will provide direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice in an emergent care environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Recognize, triage, assess, and effectively treat life-threatening conditions
  • Provide critical care to patients in a fast-paced emergency setting
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of VA or Compact licensure
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and PALS certifications within 90 days of hire
  • Handle with Care certification within one year of hire
  • Conscious Sedation competency completion within 90 days of hire

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • One year of previous experience in an ER as an RN
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
