Job Summary

Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to assist with the day-to-day upkeep, maintenance, and smooth operation of our building and campus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by delivering personalized attention to detail.
  • Clean and polish furniture and fixtures to maintain a high level of cleanliness and appearance.
  • Perform minor repairs to doors, fixtures, and furniture to ensure the building's integrity.
  • Monitor and record information from meters and gauges to verify operating conditions.
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing, and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Regularly replace HVAC air filters to maintain a healthy indoor environment.
  • Monitor building security and safety by performing tasks such as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to prevent hazards.
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies manually or using hand trucks to ensure efficient operations.
  • Maintain lawns and shrubbery by mowing and trimming using mowers and hand and power trimmers; clear debris to keep the area clean.
  • Notify managers about the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems to ensure timely maintenance.
  • Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas to ensure safe access.
  • Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding to prepare facilities for events.
  • Perform ad-hoc cleaning of building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming; gather and empty trash; service, clean, and supply restrooms.
  • Operate vehicles required to perform work to ensure efficient transportation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the building and campus.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license may be required.
