- Provide Education and Support: Educate patients and their families on proper body mechanics, safety, and treatment techniques, and provide emotional support and guidance throughout the recovery process.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Keep accurate and detailed records of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes.
- Education and Licensure: Bachelor's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program and a current Texas license or eligibility for licensure.
- Certifications: CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
- Experience: One year of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in an acute care setting.
