About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse II to join our Cardiothoracic Operating Room team at Duke University Hospital. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to patients in the Cardiothoracic Operating Room.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness.
Requirements
  • Current North Carolina or compact RN licensure.
  • BLS (or higher) certification.
  • Professional specialty certification (preferred).
  • One year of operating room experience; scrub experience preferred.
