Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Groundperson to join our team at Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC - 040. As a Groundperson, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to tree care and grounds maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate chainsaws and other equipment to cut and trim trees and shrubs.
- Drag and feed brush into wood chippers.
- Service and maintain company vehicles and equipment.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, and pushing heavy objects.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing weather conditions.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance or a related field is a plus.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods.
Working Conditions:
- Work in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and precipitation.
- Exposure to hazardous equipment and materials.
- May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, and earplugs.
- May be required to work at heights or in confined spaces.
