Building Engineer III

As a skilled Building Engineer III, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades. You will work closely with our team to identify and resolve maintenance issues, while also providing exceptional customer service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Identify and troubleshoot maintenance issues, and implement solutions to prevent future problems
- Collaborate with our team to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, responding to their maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, and implement new technologies and techniques as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent, and vocational or technical training in a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in a maintenance or engineering role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
- Valid driver's license and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Extensive experience and training in general maintenance, electrical or refrigeration, parts inventory and requisition, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting
- Supervisory experience, preferably in a maintenance or engineering role
