Serving as a vital member of our healthcare team, you will provide primary and specialized care to patients in various settings. Your expertise will span from ambulatory to inpatient environments, focusing on preventive care and ongoing health maintenance for diverse patient populations.
Education Requirements
To excel in this role, you must possess a Master's degree in nursing or equivalent advanced educational program accepted by the relevant board. A minimum of three years of nursing experience is preferred, with a valid DEA number obtained within 90 days of hire. Certification by a national nursing body is highly recommended.
Licensure and Certifications
You must hold current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Texas and be credentialed by the state to practice as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. Maintain current AHA BLS or higher certification, and obtain AHA ACLS certification or its equivalent within 90 days of employment. Prescriptive authority is mandatory.
