About the Opportunity

Mass General Brigham is seeking a per diem Radiology Technologist to support our Radiology Services in Amherst and West Hatfield. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing radiographic procedures using stationary, portable, and specialized equipment at a technical and professional level.

Responsibilities
  • Set up necessary equipment for examinations and maintain knowledge of changes in contrast material, films, and other supplies.
  • Perform specialized examinations as needed and provide up-to-date protection for patients, physicians, employees, and fellow technologists.
  • Report all malfunctions, hazards, and incidents to appropriate personnel and pre-assess patient condition to determine employee ability to perform a quality radiographic examination.
  • Provide training and ensure appropriate use of the Radiology Information System.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree required; high school diploma or equivalent may be waived for candidates who meet licensing and registration requirements.
  • Current licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and registry eligibility required; ARRT registration must be completed within six months of hire.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
  • 1 year of experience preferred; technologists must be trained and capable of handling patients from invitro through adult.
