Job Overview

Texas Oncology, the largest community oncology provider in the country, is seeking a Medical Assistant to join their team at Dallas Medical City location. This role will support patient care duties in a clinical environment and promote efficient patient flow.

Responsibilities
  • Escort patients to and from exam rooms, physician offices, and treatment rooms as necessary.
  • Record patient data prior to each physician visit, including vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.
  • Obtain all necessary patient records as required by physicians prior to treatment or procedures.
  • Prepare and stock exam/treatment rooms and order supplies as needed.
  • Assist physicians with exams and procedures as requested.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Certificate of graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants preferred.
  • Minimum 0-3 years experience as a medical assistant or nursing assistant.
  • Current BCLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
