At Astura Medical, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Device Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the modification and repair of surgical instrumentation, ensuring that all damaged equipment is restored to working condition in a timely manner.

The estimated salary for this position is between $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including 100% paid medical, dental, vision, and STD coverage, as well as 10 days of accrual-based PTO that increases each year employed.

Key responsibilities of the job include:

  • Performing various repair operations, such as mechanical assembly/disassembly, milling, drilling, grinding, media blasting, calibration, etc.
  • Creating documentation necessary to track device modifications within our electronic document control system.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of fundamental mechanical principles and hands-on mechanical ability. You should also be able to safely operate basic hand and power tools and read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

We require a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook. If you have manufacturing experience, preferably machining and/or mechanical assembly, it is an added bonus.
