Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at The Laurels of Charlottesville. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, working under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.

Responsibilities
  • Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
  • Measure and record height and weight, intake and output.
  • Care for the residents' environment, ensuring a clean and safe living space.
  • Assist with bathing, grooming, and toileting, promoting residents' dignity and independence.
  • Assist with eating and hydration, ensuring residents' nutritional needs are met.
  • Observe residents' skin when administering care and report changes to licensed nurse; provide skin care as needed.
  • Meet residents' mental health and social service needs, providing emotional support and companionship.
Qualifications
  • High school graduate/GED
  • CNA certification
  • or acceptable exemption required
